The Crimson Cosmo is our take on the modern cocktail classic – fruity, fresh and with an intense citrus note. Gin meets cranberry, lime and the deep fruitiness of blood orange.
Whilst cranberry and lime provide the typical freshness and acidity, blood orange adds a deeper, more intense fruitiness and a slightly tart citrus note. This makes the drink seem more complex and less sweet than many Cosmopolitan variations. Sumac brings a subtle oriental kick.
The result is a cocktail that is simultaneously elegant, lively and surprisingly aromatic.
